The book of Leviticus tells us that we are obligated to love our neighbor, but also-- and more radically-- that we are obligated to love the ger, the stranger-immigrant-refugee who has come to live among us.  In this session, we'll carefully explore the biblical verses that develop this commandment and see how they fit into the Torah's larger project of creating a society that is everything Egypt was not.
