A Rabba and a Rabbanit walk Into a Beit Midrash... This session will be co-taught by Yaffa Epstein and Nechama Goldman Barasch -- two Orthodox Feminist Talmud teachers on the faculty at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. The catch? One lives in Israel, and the other lives in New York City. We'll be exploring some of the major Halachic (Jewish legal) issues that are facing Orthodoxy and the similarities and differences between how the communities in Israel and in the US are approaching them.
